An unnatural wave of serial murders terrorizes the city. As a member of the Serial Crimes Unit, you will rely on sharp instincts and sophisticated forensic tools to investigate crime scenes, collect evidence, and find clues that will lead you to the killers. With danger lurking in every shadow, you'll need whatever weapons you can find to stay alive. If you run out of bullets, you'll have to make do with a fire axe, shovel, wood two-by-four, or whatever you can pry from the environment around you.
Features:
Visceral Combat - In addition to an array of real world weapons such as pistols and shotguns, a context-sensitive, first person melee system allows players and enemies to use pipes, boards, shovels and crowbars in bone-breaking close-range combat.
Next-Generation Graphics - Fully dynamic per pixel lighting and shadow volumes build atmosphere and deepen immersion. A swinging light fixture will strike lurid specular reflections from oily pipes and reflective pools of stagnant water. Shadows will move realistically across grimy floors and along stained walls, announcing enemies before they appear.
Advanced Physics - The game will use an advanced physics engine (Havok 3.0) for realistic object interactions and ragdoll effects on characters.
