The new release takes the accurate portrayal of the fire fighter's realm to the next level thanks to a new technological platform that allows for an incomparably rich and realistic game experience. New features include additional types of vehicles and units, enhanced artificial intelligence, improved realism through enhanced fire and smoke physics, and more detailed animations. Larger maps with greater detail, richer missions with a captivating storyline and more ways to successfully battle situations that change with every play session will plunge players into the fascinating realities of the fire fighter's job.

A key objective with this release is to present players with the most realistic fire fighting elements possible : All scenarios are based on real-life events e.g. the 1991 Oakland-Berkeley Hills fire or the Loma Priesta Earthquake in the Bay Area, 1989. Monte Cristo is not creating a reasonable 'simulation' of fire fighting for the average gamer - to succeed, the fire fighting content must meet the standards of fire and rescue professionals.

To meet these standards, Monte Cristo has recruited U.S. fire and rescue professionals as game consultants to ensure every game element is perfectly accurate: fire that spreads, climbs, and responds to fuels and materials just like in real life; smoke that billows and flows with air currents; vehicles and units that look and move like real-world counterparts, and use the same fire fighting tools and techniques; and disaster and fire scenarios that accurately simulate real-world events.

By immersing themselves in the role of a firefighter, players will gain a strong understanding of the realities of the firefighter's job.
