Version 2.02 Patch 1 Changes

Removed a debug message that would show up in the text buffer when you were around coastlines.

Fixed some issues with the new cloud layer not sorting correctly with other transparent objects.

Map rooms were missing from vehicle bases.

Map rooms could be destroyed by normal ordnance.

Flak and smoke shells now make sounds again.

Amphibs no longer create water splashes on ground.

Fixed a problem on the edge of towns that created an invisible barricade for vehicles.

Made a change to the flak puff animation.

Made a change to the color of the water splash on the boats.

Version 2.02 Changes
======================

AH2 now only ships with 512x512 textures. If you use a max texture size setting of 1024, you will need to download an optional file with the 1024 textures from our download page. Skins will continue to ship in a 1024 format.

Added an option in the video setup to preload skins. This was not an option before and skins were always preloaded if the preload selection was enabled. This would lead to problems included dumps when connecting to the host if not enough memory was present to load all skins.

Added a new dot command to reset the voice system if you lose voice communications. The dot command .resetv will reset all systems and show the dot commands to reset individual systems. We are looking for feedback as to which individual system causes voice comms to be restored when it is reset. This will enable us to track down the cause and make a permanent fix. If you lose voice commands, use the .resetv command to reset all systems. If this fixes the problem, the next time it happens, reset individual systems until voice is restored and let us know which system reset restored it. Thanks for your help in this matter.

Added a number of new or improved graphical effects. There are also two new checkboxes in the Graphic Detail menu to deselect additional effects if frame-rate is a problem on your system.

Added loading screens to the start up process.

Added the P-38F and P-38J.

Reworked the P-38L plane shape.

A big thanks to Airmess for providing the P-38L skin as well as a template that was used for the P-38J and P-38G.

Added a new cloud effect in the form of a thin cloud layer.

Changed the properties of the gunsight reticle.

Added a new option for skinners to set the specularity of their plane's finish. Note that this feature is only available on the planes that have been reworked to AH2 specs. If a plane is capable of having its material modified, a new file called material.txt will be created in the export directory that contains diffuse, specular, and ambient floating point (i.e. 0 to 1) RGB values. This file is not required to be in your skins directory if you do not plan to modify it.

Fixed a bug that caused vehicles to not always display at the correct ranges.

Changed fog effects to be circular and haze effects are removed on other planes when above the haze layer.

The slip indicator in the Yaks now work.

SBD aileron trim indicator now moves in the correct direction.

Fixed a sorting error with the B-26 ammo and gun positions.

Fixed a sorting error with the TBM's insignia.

Fixed a sorting error with the wing stripes on the Ju 87.

Hurricane II and Yak-9U shadows no longer flicker.

Sunglare effect was removed when the sun is at the horizon.

Fixed the M8 beacon light.

Rear seats on the M3 sort correctly now.

Changed how different fuel quantities are loaded in the P-47s.

Fixed a bug that was causing drop tank fuel quantity to display an incorrect amount on the E6B.

Fixed a sorting error on the M3.

Amended the damage list on the 110G-2.

Fixed the clock needles on the FM2 and F4F.

The wheels on the 109G-2 now rotate.

Fuel leaks now display correctly on the B5N2.

Wheels on the M8 now turn.

Fixed a bug in the B-24 that was causing portions of the empennage to show damage incorrectly.
