The v1.21 patch fixes a multiplayer exploit.
The v1.2 patch contains a huge list of changes and bug fixes including: three new maps, eight new vehicles, a new spectator mode, unique buddy colors, mobile spawn points, balance tweaks, and more. NOTE: The WWII Mod must be installed before applying the v1.2 patch.
The WWII mod is a partial conversion of the original Battlefield 1942 to the updated Battlefield Vietnam engine. In includes three of the most popular maps from the Pacific Theater. NOTE: The v1.1 patch (or v1.2 full patch) must be applied before installing this mod.
