the user more control when using auto-baserunning:

[Ctrl] + 1 Orders a hit and run play.

[Ctrl] + 3 Tells baserunner on second to steal third base.
[Ctrl] + 4 Tells baserunner on third to steal home plate.

- v 1.1 Multiplayer Information:

High Heat Baseball 2000 v 1.1 further optimizes the quality of gameplay
over internet services like: HEAT.NET, MSN(TM) Gaming Zone and mplayer.com(TM).

Please note that there is an increase in latency when computers
configured with different operating systems (i.e. Windows '95 and
Windows '98) connect to each other.

We recommend that in multiplayer games over the internet that you set
baserunning to automatic control in the Team Settings Screen.

High Heat checks to see if it was launched from an internet game lobby
during startup. On some systems this can result in an attempt to
establish a network connection by dialing a modem line or an ISDN line.

The command line option -nolobby will disable this check.
You can then play a single player game without the machine
attempting to establish a network connection.

To add this command line option, right-click on the shortcut to High
Heat Baseball 2000 in your Start Menu under 3do and High Heat Baseball
2000, select "Properties" and edit the "Target:" field by adding a space
followed by "-nolobby" (without quotes) at the end of the field.

For example, the target (or "command line")
"C:Program FilesdoHigh Heat Baseball 2000hh2k.exe"
would change to
"C:Program FilesdoHigh Heat Baseball 2000hh2k.exe" -nolobby

Refer to your High Heat Baseball 2000 game manual for gameplay instructions.
Additional information on gameplay is available from within the game under
Utilities in the Main Menu.

the camera positioning controls are available from the same controller.
To switch from VCR mode to camera positioning mode, press the button specified
in the Game Manual as the button which would switch the control between the
two controllers.

The custom camera now lets you point the camera in different directions
during gameplay. Controls are similar to the ones for the VCR camera controls.

NOTE: High Heat Baseball 2000 comes with a Player Editor which is a powerful
tool that you can use to modify existing player stats and ratings as you like.
