INTRODUCTION
=================================================
The NLExePatcher has been created to ensure that NovaLogic's older products retain their multiplayer functionality after the NovaLogic Network Operations Center (NOC) relocation.


AFFECTED TITLES
=================================================
This patch is not needed for newer titles, if a title is not listed below, it does not need this patch. The following titles may need to be patched:

Armored Fist 3
Comanche Gold
F-16 Multirole Fighter
F-22 Raptor
F-22 IBS
F-22 Lightning 3
MiG-29 Fulcrum
Delta Force
Delta Force 2
Delta Force Land Warrior.

APPLYING THE PATCH
=================================================
The NLExePatcher has been designed so that it is compatible with any title listed in the "AFFECTED TITLES" section of this document whether it was purchased as a boxed product or through electronic distribution. If you have one of the NovaLogic titles listed above, download the NLExePatcher.exe and run it. Make sure that you are NOT running the game when running the NLExePatcher.

Run the patcher and select the "Next" option when ready. You must then answer the question, "Which method did you use to purchase your NovaLogic product?”.

Next, from the provided list, select the product that you wish to patch and click "Next". You will then be asked to select the install directory of the title that you selected. If the patcher did not automatically select the correct directory, click the "Browse" button and manually search for it. The CD-Rom box titles usually intstall in C:Program FilesNovaLogicGame_Name by default, while titles bought through www.trygames.com will default install to C:Game_Name.

Once you have correctly located your install directory, run the patcher by clicking the "Next" button. The program will then scan this directory and tell you if files need to be changed or not. Once the patch is complete you can click on the "Back" button to start again with another title or you can click the "Finished" button to quit.


TECHNICAL ISSUES
=================================================

1. Tachyon the Fringe will no longer allow for consumer hosted games after the patch. Players will not have the ability to connect to consumer servers through NovaWorld.

2. Some newer versions of listed titles will not need the patcher. The patcher will recognize if your installed product does not need a patch. If you get a message that says "We have determined that no patching is required for this product in this directory", then a patch is not required and you may quit the application.
