Patch Release Information:

INSTALLATION
- There are 2 versions of this patch 1.7 full and 1.6 -> 1.7 upgrade. If you
already have 1.6, you can download just the upgrade. Downloading the full
version will work on any version of Ship Simulator 2006
- After installation, it should say 1.7 in the bottom left corner of the
screen.

Version 1.7

The following features and fixes are included in version 1.7:

- Added 'Rate of Turn' indicator in GPS Panel.
- Now bridge controls are usable anywhere on the ship in walk through mode.
- Pressing TAB will now remove all menus, for a clean image.
- Added bridge sound (_audio folder in installation root, where you could put any mp3 file).
- New player ship: small surface boat, used for assisting tugs, with on-board controls and walk through option.
- Support for the new Saitek AV8R-01controller with the two levers, which allows the 2 engines to be controlled separately on ships with 2 engines.
- Percentage indicators next to engine levers and steering control.

- Fixed issue with the horn when switching to a waypoint
- Resolved a bug that made the game crash upon exit
- The Insert numpad key added for creating paths in edit mode

Special note:

- A recent North-American patch was baptised version 1.5, hence the 1.6 for this new patch (suited for ALL English and localized versions).
