Site News: Achievements!

I update this site news only when something major happens to the site as you guys know by now :P And that is just what happened today. A new achievement system got implemented to the site! This means in your profile, you will be able to show off the achievements you earn from the games that use our system! This feature is powerful and was well thought-out by me and my guys, and I’m glad it is working perfectly :)

Also it’s been a while since we released our own free games, so we thought we would complement the achievement system by releasing it with a new MoFunZone free game. The game is Ninjutsu, though it was prematurely released, you guys seem to like it by the reviews and emails we’re getting… also it helps having had released it with our achievement system. This is a game that I’ll always remember for being part of our achievement system release. In the game you play as a Ninja who tries to destroy all evil by taking a leap of faith to reach the evil mountain and destroy it, his attempts get better as you help him invest in the right skills to acquire! An addictive free game to play, and a perfect game to start earning your achievement badges in for your profile.

Though what I said above is exciting already, you guys will be dazzled by the new layout and features we’re very close to releasing, one of them a feature no other site has and would make your profile much more fun and unique… that’s all I’ll say for now ;)

I got 444000 in 6 turns on Ninjutsu, but I unfortunately am not able to type my name in the name bar...

with some of these new games its hard to tell which one have acheivements... .. i was thinking of somthing next to the game name to tell you if that one has acheivments

You can now get over 20 achievement badges, hopefully that can keep you busy :P I plan on adding another game with achievements today :)

Checking in to see how the progress goes. I don't chat here much anymore because of the lack of interesting conversation, and the fact that this isn't a proper place to chat. I'm not dead, just less active. I still frequent http://www.mofunzone.com. Keep up the good work Mo, I noticed your beta on the achievment system, and I must say I like. I still think the colors need a facelift, but thats your call.

This is great! But is the rules page up? Also, on a side note, that company that was supposedly meant to preserve humanity in 2012 has a commercial, and the end said "MOVIE NOT YET RATED". The least likely to succeed new game in my opinion is Hello Kitty Online, since everyone knows there are no girls on the internet and only mentally deranged guys will play it.

the amount of exp given for these achievements is so absurd that posting and rating isn't as necessary.

I agree, we felt it was generous gesture to the gamers ninjutsu... but the rest of the games, it's really worth it... and we'll continue to gauge these achievements :) There are sooooooooo many games with achievements coming your way!

Also for those that care, it's been only 3 days, and over 7,000 different badges were given to the users. I'm glad it's working very smooth. Thanks for your support guys and for your patience to get the site more bumpin'

semla, there are already 3 games that contain badges, there are more than 15 different badges... so it isn't the same badges to 7000 people haha!
