Site News: Achievements!

I update this site news only when something major happens to the site as you guys know by now :P And that is just what happened today. A new achievement system got implemented to the site! This means in your profile, you will be able to show off the achievements you earn from the games that use our system! This feature is powerful and was well thought-out by me and my guys, and I’m glad it is working perfectly :)

Also it’s been a while since we released our own free games, so we thought we would complement the achievement system by releasing it with a new MoFunZone free game. The game is Ninjutsu, though it was prematurely released, you guys seem to like it by the reviews and emails we’re getting… also it helps having had released it with our achievement system. This is a game that I’ll always remember for being part of our achievement system release. In the game you play as a Ninja who tries to destroy all evil by taking a leap of faith to reach the evil mountain and destroy it, his attempts get better as you help him invest in the right skills to acquire! An addictive free game to play, and a perfect game to start earning your achievement badges in for your profile.

Though what I said above is exciting already, you guys will be dazzled by the new layout and features we’re very close to releasing, one of them a feature no other site has and would make your profile much more fun and unique… that’s all I’ll say for now ;)

basically, we need something that shows seniority to make us feel warm and fuzzy inside (cough level system based on number of review s and comments or time since registration cough. cough perhaps red names for admins cough cough COUGH CA-HACK. Man, my throaght is getting sore. HINT HINT MO

(on a completely unrelated topic, what do you do on the internet? Myspace in boring, I don't wanna switch to facebook, internet forums are only good at certain parts of the day, and mofunzone is a dead blackhole except for playing games (which I don't care much for anyways.) what do you do while browsing?)

I agree. I started posting a lot on anythingbutipod because I have a zune and before that have always been interested in anything but ipods as a source of media players. oh well... maybe we could make a website together or something? anything to escape the black hole of boredom the internet is becoming

i also own the rights for rights4ghosts .. no idea what we could do with that lol but its something (my original idea was to make a website for the rights of ghosts, hoping i could generate media attention by making it insane lol)

Maybe we could make a radio where we upload all of our favorite songs? I know software that can do that. as for flash, im not very good with that technology but i could always stream videos

as for a firecoldish type thing, i think we could do it, but with the expectation of it being more portal based. Firecold was a website that allowed users to submit LINKS to content, much like digg or reddit

alright, I see what your hinting at. You want a hybrid, something that's good at games, music, homeliness, and less rules (which, makes more sense because banning so many people makes me realize its just a waste). But what about content? what do we have to offer to people so that they will want to come to our site, or do we care?

i think the reason firecold was so dear to us (and the reason it ended up dyeing) is because it had a lack of users. but maybe thats better?

dude, i know: we could do something like boredatwork and make pages of our own whenever interested. Say I want to make a fan site about diablo 3 on a subdomain of the registered domain. or you could make a page for your animations. screw trying to fulfill a mission, its impossible with our limited resources to focus on one aspect or to maintain creativity for prolonged amounts of time. why not just be creative when we feel like it?

lets do it... im serious. now we need a name for our idea. i read somewhere that one word domains that are spelled interestingly work best. ex:google, yahoo,twitter, flickr, aol, etc

alright. im going to bed soon, but tomorrow i will build the front page on a free website and we can start adding content. if after a little while you and i both want to go forward with this project, then we'll do it. just post in the news section and we can arrange another way of communication (aim, live messenger) to get this ball rolling
