Yes, it has been almost half-a-year since I updated this site news! Of course not to say a lot has not been going on as you can see, but just due to my weird policy of updating the site news only when something major happens to the site :P So you know what this means? ;) …. Today something major happened to the site! And I hope you’re excited as I am in introducing our new innovative feature – the MoFunZone Avatar Maker!

Since the user system has been introduced to mofunzone back in late 2008, I’ve heard it over and over, that you wanted more control over your profile picture, aka avatar, and were getting bored of the 22 pre-set avatars I set up for you guys… I don’t blame you, there are half-a-million ACTIVE members here, and giving them only 22 avatars to share was kinda lame on my part :P BUT it’s fixed now and you can create your very own unique avatar now!

Of course what I could have done was just let you guys upload your own pictures, but that would have come with a few problems, like users uploading inappropriate pictures and etc.., and would make the site pretty ordinary and boring. Therefore after a lot of brain storming sessions with my buddies, developers, and some of you guys, we came up with the idea of letting the user create his/her own avatar! Which can uniquely represent them, and would make the site a lot more fun… plus this feature would let you use your very own character in our upcoming free games ;)

This avatar system was actually ready for a while, but as most of you long-time-visitors know, I do all the programming behind the site, alone! And considering our user system is just over a year old now, I have to make sure the site doesn’t crash, and must carefully release the new features, and not get in the way of your free gaming experience :P

On top of the thousands of free online games, and free games downloads and other games stuff I offer here to you guys, I hope you’re also enjoying our very unique features on this site, like my recent achievements system, and now the avatar marker… of course it doesn’t end there, not even close! There is a new layout almost done, and it’s jam-packed with amazing features you’ll never find anywhere else on the web! To start off, me and my friends went to my place on the rainbow river. We tubed, played volleyball, picked up a few chicks, swam, did a few illegal things, etc. :P

dusset, forums are a more...permanant chat system. Those messages can last forever while what shady was talking about would be a very temporary chat bubble to fill in the space on the page sides. I think you can get those for a low monthly cost, I see plenty of websites worse than MFZ using them, but Mo is true to the "completely unique" site feel with nothing from other sites. Forums make the community though, a chat bubble doesn't.

You can also make it something funny like when you say the F word it's automaticly changed to something nice.

Like when you say: .... You!!!. It's changed to: I admire you XD.

HAHA, I agree with keith753. It's good to refrain people from using bad language, but I don't think you've to let them talk like a couple of posh ladies during teatime.

Any chance of a smart filter? Censoring the 'A' word also screws with other ones as it stands. If I were to say... "I was playing football with my brother the other day. He passed the ball to me, but it was incomplete". Or... "I was fishing the other day and I caught this huge bass!" Censoring other words out also does the same, obviously.

Did you actually type it like that as an example, or was that censored?

Just beat bioshock 2, wish I actually paid for it so I could use the multiplayer now. I wonder if you can actually pack both SP and MP in a torrent since no one ever does it.
