Site News: Sumo Chairs Winners!
Posted: Dec 13, 2008 @ 10:30pm
It's the Sumo wonderful time of the year!! ...Yea, I thought that was clever! :P
Hope everyone has checked out our friends at Sumo and saw the cool Sumo Chairs up for grabs in our epic MoFunZone EXP points contest! The contest is now over and the lucky winners have been chosen, so keep reading because you might have to add "Sumo Chair Winner" to your resume if it's you! :P
We want nothing but the best for our gamers, and that is why Sumo Chairs are the only way to go when playing free online games at MoFunZone.com. There's nothing better than curling up with your laptop with billions of nylon shells conforming to your body. The best part about these bags is that you can always get up and reshape them. It's so much fun rolling them over and then jumping on them! Even if you don’t win this time around, you can buy these at the affordable prices at their website!
Without further ado the three lucky winners are:
*drumroll*
Winner 1: slimshady
You might recognize him as one of our hard-working admins, and I'm sure all that banning really must take a toll on his back. :P Congrats on monitoring the site and keeping an eye on things... Hopefully this much comfort won't make you doze off! :P
Winner 2: kingofthekings
Every gamer, err..I mean king, needs his own throne to own...so enjoy the Sumo Chair :)!!
Winner 3: turdnerd
The amount of EXP points this gamer has is phenomenal! A true fan of free online games, turdnerd wins a Sumo Chair fair and square. Just don't let your warning level get as high as your EXP points :P Keep up the good job and behave, and the warning percentage might just vanish completely!
And since the holidays are coming up, we couldn't help but get some little stocking stuffers for ourselves! It's the gift that keeps on giving you free online games all year round: Nine, I repeat, 9 brand spankin' new servers to help us carry out the new features we'll be adding in the new year. What will those features exactly be? Forums and an engaging friends system just to name a few!
Alright gamers, stay tuned for more free online games, site news updates and lots more throughout the holidays!

Wow. Thanks Mo, I mean for taking the time to
organize all of this. It really seems like a lot of
hard work is put into a lot things. Much
appreciated.
-Cheers!

It would only make sense for admins to recieve
messages that someone was warned. How about this: a
bot that instead of spending out messages every time
someone is banned or warned, we get a report 24
times a year with all bannings/warnings.

It seems like turd's warning % would have
disqualified him and passed the prize to mono, and
yet it didn't. I hope the next contest actually
takes into consideration all of these unknown
factors and not just a select few.

The winners of this contest was something like
this:
1. Mod- either skwerl or slimshady (i
think mo flipped a coin for this one)
2. An
"active" person DURING the period of
the contest. Though what constitutes as
"active" we don

dont really know, and the third winner, is the
person with the most exp, although I must say this
was abit unfair, just like skwerl, I've actually
been tracking turdnerd's exp DURING the contest,
and no, he didn't gain the most as for some days,
he did
Posted: Dec 15, 2008 @ 5:12pm
the third winner, I must say, is chosen rather
unfairly as the person who registered first will
almost always gain the most exp but anyhow it
doesn't matter now. Thanks Mo for having the
contest =]!

Freakin' aye... active means posting, commenting,
rating a lot.

Well I'm slightly saddened. My internet died for
the last two weeks. I thought this was not a basis
on exp yet turd won. Anywho congratz you three.
Excuse me whilst I bleed in the corner :P

And apple, you are severely mistaken. King actually
joined before turd. Turd just spammed alot then
slowly regained his senses comming a hairs length
from ban. I think Spidy should have one but he was
banned like what, 4 times? Anyways, what did I miss?

Lol at the whole stay out of trouble and your warn
will vanish thing. Can anyone tell me my warn level.
Yes, I'm still bitter about that. :\
Posted: Dec 15, 2008 @ 8:46pm
That maybe true but I still think you should have
been a candidate. But oh well. Oh something I
completely forgot about slim. Did Mo ever get back
to you about that e-mail you sent regarding me? Just
curious because I don't recall any feedback.
Posted: Dec 16, 2008 @ 12:19am
Hmm.. I noticed quite a few of you guys are from
Toronto, anyone near scarborough-agincourt?
Posted: Dec 16, 2008 @ 4:38am
I thought I should mention that MoFunZone.com is
running on a new server that's 200% faster, which
means things will get going real fast. Some users
are still probably seeing the old server as the DNS
servers take time to propagate in certain areas.

Great! Any updates are welcome! And I signed upp
before turd. In fact,m i signed up before it was
made public. I AM THAT POWERFULZ. And i can't
really say im the most deserving, i mean i was
inactive for the end, but im not saying i dont
deserve it eathe

No Mono, he didn't...
Posted: Dec 16, 2008 @ 8:55pm
Sad, But understandable. He's a busy man
Posted: Dec 16, 2008 @ 9:39pm
ya know I never found out how to get xp and yes this
may be my first but it'll never be my last...for
those of u wondering I have never consciously
spammed so if I do just let me know...guess
that's bout it>.<
Posted: Dec 16, 2008 @ 10:00pm
How can you not know how to get EXP if every time
you post you get a full screen notification
paragraph telling you that you gained it?
Posted: Dec 17, 2008 @ 6:16am
skwerl, you'd be surprised at the emails I get :P
Posted: Dec 17, 2008 @ 6:35am
Mo, if you want you can just send some of those
emails to me. I'd be glad to answer any questions
and take some of the burden off of you.

badtouch, what was that about? It seemed extremely
random. Also, I think we need a bot to evenly
distribute mail questions between admins.
Posted: Dec 17, 2008 @ 5:51pm
Yea well skwerl some questions are directed at
specific admins. For example, the first time the
site incorperated user I.D's, I think you recall,
that slim and I, and possibly a few others sent Mo a
message refering to the proposition of me as an
admin.
Posted: Dec 17, 2008 @ 5:52pm
I only bring it up because I'd like some
feedback, wether good or bad on that. We all voted
on it as I recall. Hopefully while mo is in
"active" mode he will read this and
lemme know.
