Time Attack Mode

This mode is basically a run through Hell again, but this time you get your choice of weapons and you can decide to take the Life Pot with you or not. And you are also able to either run through with 3, 29, or 55 HP. A quick note though, there is a limitation here. If you take the Polar Star, you can't take the Spur, Machine Gun, or if you took the Fireball alone too, Snake. If you take the Snake, you can't take Spur, Machine Gun, Polar Star or Fireball. Basically it's the limitations in the story mode.

Changing the title screen

By beating time attack quick enough you can change the character and song played on the title screen. Under 6 minutes - character: Curly Brace; song: Running Hell Under 5 minutes - character: Toroko; song: Toroko's Theme (only way to unlock "Toroko's Theme" in the jukebox) Under 4 minutes - character: King; song: White (only way to unlock "White" in the jukebox) Under 3 minutes - character: Sue; song: Safety

Hidden Holiday Outfits

A Santa costune for Christmas can be found by playing between December 24 and January 7, and a dark-colored Halloween outfit is found by playing between October 27 and November 3. To use the outfits without having to wait, simply change the date in the DS Settings menu.
