Cheat Mode:
Under 'Game Options', enable the console. Press ~ to open the console and type developer 1. Click the 'Load' button that appears and select the desired level. Once the level loads, press ~ to bring up the console again and type devmap as a command. Now you may enter one of the following codes for the corresponding effect.

Cheat Mode (Demo):
Select "Game Options" at the main menu, and enable the console. Press ~ to display the console then enter seta thereisacow "1337". Then enter spdevmap eldaba to begin the demo with cheats enabled. Press ~ during game play to display the console window, then enter one of the following codes for the corresponding cheat.
