Strategy Guide

  • Play as sub-characters

    Beat decisive battle (story) mode and keep both sub-characters alive. Then, the sub-characters can be used in any other game mode.

  • Slash mode

    Beat Boss mode without using any continues. Then, an option for "Slash Mode" will appear on the main menu.

  • Play as Katze

    Select a Shainto fighter and complete slash mode in under fifteen minutes. Then, Katze will now be selectable under versus, group battle, and link modes.

  • Play as Tsubame

    Select a Narukagami fighter and complete slash mode in under fifteen minutes. Then, Tsubame will now be selectable under versus, group battle, and link modes.

  • Hundred slashes mode

    Beat the game with the six regular characters.

  • Chanbarra mode

    Defeat all thirteen Bosses in action (Boss) mode without using any continues. Then on the main menu, highlight the "Link Mode" option and press Down(2) to access Chanbarra mode.
